GH – Community Mental Health Champion

In a celebration of Mental Health Wellness week GH Manufacturing Inc. was recognized as a Community Mental Health Champion. Kim Egan, EVP & CFO was on hand at the celebration to receive the award on behalf of Guenther Huettlin, Owner and President of GH Manufacturing Inc.
Sandie Sidsworth, Executive Director of Canadian Mental Health Association, Hastings and Prince Edward Branch recognized GH Manufacturing for their positive contribution. In presenting the award Sidsworth said “GH Manufacturing leads the way in working with individuals with mental illness to obtain, maintain and excel in employment while moving through recovery. The support provided to individuals for the past six years makes them a Community Mental Health Champion!”
GH Manufacturing supports employees on their journey to mental health wellness. The company recognizes that the line between mental health wellness and illness is very thin. Any significant life change can have an emotional impact on those affected. GH Manufacturing is very fortunate to have the support of the Canadian Mental Health Association in the community. It is working together that we are able to keep people employed and on a journey to mental health wellness.
The celebration recognized many community leaders from Hastings & Prince Edward County to a standing room only crowd of well-wishers and community supporters. The event was centered on the grand opening of the Maurice Rollins Center of Hope. Mr. Rollins has been a solid supporter of Canadian Mental Health Association – HPE for many years. This has been a dream come true for the organization and will benefit the community for many years to come.
